description
B20 is one of the most exclusive and demanding alloys used in cymbal production. It contains approximately 80% copper and 20% tin, which gives it an excellent balance of hardness, durability and rich tonal complexity. Its processing requires highly skilled craftsmen – the material is challenging to forge, shape and tune, but the reward is exceptional sound depth, musicality and a distinctive character appreciated by professional drummers worldwide.
Each cymbal is meticulously hand-hammered, ensuring a unique sound character and enhanced dynamics. Hand-hammering gives the cymbal the deeper, more resonant tones that are characteristic of the PYRITE series. Thanks to its complex tonal spectrum, each B25 cymbal is truly a unique original.
– a fusion of shine and nature
Brilliant / Natural finish combines a highly polished surface around the circumference of the cymbal with a natural, unpolished crown. This treatment combines the modern visual style and bright, punchy sound of the Brilliant finish with the warmer, rawer response of the Natural finish in the center. The result is a cymbal with an exceptionally balanced character – clean and fresh, yet still musically natural.
VISUAL PROPERTIES
• The outer part of the cymbal is mirror polished, with a pronounced shine and a smooth surface.
• The crown remains matte, unpolished, with a slightly rough texture and a natural bronze hue.
• The combination creates an elegant contrast between a shiny aesthetic and a handcrafted rawness.
• Visually it looks premium and modern – great for stage presentation.
SOUND PROPERTIES
• The Brilliant part delivers a brighter, more open and punchy tone with a fast attack.
• The Natural knob adds a drier articulation and controlled attack, which helps keep the sound balanced.
• Sonically, it is a mix of brilliant freshness and natural depth - the cymbal responds lively, but not overly sharp.
• An excellent choice for players who want a versatile and dynamic instrument.
• The glossy surface requires regular cleaning with a soft cloth and a special cymbal cleaner.
• We recommend cleaning the Natural knob only dry to preserve its authentic texture.
• The subtle patina on the knob is natural and does not affect the sound quality.
• For pop, rock, fusion and modern genres where clear punch and visual effect are needed.
• For studio and stage players who are looking for a combination of purity and natural character.
• The ideal choice for drummers who want a modern shine without losing musicality.
