BRASS BEAT

BRASS BEAT Series / SYNERGY Cymbals - these cymbals are made of Brass alloy - mainly copper and zinc (approximately 67–70% copper and 30–33% zinc). This is a softer and cheaper material that is almost exclusively machine-processed - not hand-beaten. Hand-beating is almost never used for brass cymbals, because the material is too soft and would hardly hold its shape after being hammered. In addition, the target group of brass cymbals (beginners, students, practice sets) does not require such precise craftsmanship.

description

is an alloy composed mostly of copper (approx. 60–70%) and zinc (approx. 30–40%). In the music world, it is mainly used in the production of affordable cymbals intended for beginners or less demanding use. Thanks to its lower density and softer material, brass cymbals produce a brighter, simpler and more direct sound with a shorter reverberation. This makes it a suitable choice for practice, home playing or as an entry into the world of percussion instruments. Its advantage is also its lower price and resistance to corrosion, but it should be noted that brass cymbals have a shorter lifespan and limited sound possibilities compared to bronze alloys such as B20 or B10.

It is a softer and cheaper material that is mostly machine-shaped and pressed, which allows the production of affordable and robust cymbals with a consistent shape.

- is the most classic and widespread cymbal finish, characterized by a fine surface turning and visible circular grooves. This process allows the cymbal to fully develop its natural, warm and musically balanced sound.

Material Properties
• Soft and lightweight material with a shorter sustain than bronze alloys.

• Easier processing allows for machine production, not hand-beating.
• The sound responds directly, with a clear attack, but less dynamic variability.

Sound Character
• A clear, direct and simpler tone suitable for basic playing and practice.
• Less complex harmonic profile, shorter reverberation and less depth than the B20 or B25.
• Suitable for smaller ensembles or for beginners, where articulation and rhythm legibility are important.

• Clean gently with a dry cloth to avoid damaging the finish.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners or polishes.

• An ideal choice for beginners, students and home practice.
• Suitable for school ensembles, practice sets and less demanding applications.
• Offers an affordable entry into the world of cymbals, where you can get to know the sound and character of brass material without high costs.
